After six months, the Zamfara state House of Assembly has reportedly begun a fresh move to impeach the incumbent deputy governor of the state, Mahdi Aliyu Gusau.
The state lawmakers had in July 2021, accused the deputy governor of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and gave him a 48-hour ultimatum to appear before it over allegations of official misconduct levelled against him.
It remains to be seen the approach the state assembly would deploy this time around.
