Breaking: Akeredolu fires Ondo Attorney General

The Ondo state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has announced the sack of the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Kolawole Olawoye.

Akeredolu in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary on Monday also announced Mr. Charles Titiloye as a replacement for the sacked cabinet member.

Titiloye is a human right activist and a renowned social critic.

He was former Secretary of the Nigerian Bar of Association (NBA), Akure Branch. 

A devout Christian, Titiloye is a Knight of the Catholic Church of the order of Saint Mulumba.

His name will be forwarded to the state House of Assembly for confirmation. 

However, no reason was given over why the former Attorney General and commissioner of Justice in the state was relieved of his position.
