Breaking – Ali heaps damaging punches, defeats Price in Liverpool heavyweight showdown

David Price was shockingly bitten four times by opponent Kash Ali in their heavyweight fight in Liverpool.

Ali appeared to nibble Price’s shoulder in the third round of the contest, and when the two fell to the ground in the fifth he bit him again, this time on the stomach.

The fight, at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena, was stopped by the referee and Ali, 27, was disqualified.

Amid the shocking scenes a clear bite mark was visible on Price’s stomach and it was claimed Ali may have bitten him up to four times.

Ali is certain to face severe punishment for his outrageous actions, with the British Boxing Board of Control immediately announcing his purse has been withheld.

A shocked Price called Ali an “animal” after the contest – with his opponent being bombarded with drinks thrown by the crowd as he left the arena.

“He did a couple early on and I thought he had lost his head completely.

“He said he wanted a rematch, but I don’t want to share a ring with an animal like that again.

“The main thing is that I move forward. I will take any win, and now we move on.”
