Information reaching Blueprint has it that the Minister of Transport Rotimi Ameachi and some members of the People Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential campaign team clashed Saturday night at the VIP wing of the Muritala Muhammed Airport, Abuja.
Blueprint reliably gathered that while Ameachi was returning from Gombe state, where President Muhammadu Buhari had gone for campaign, Atiku and his aides were also returning from Edo state for same purpose.
A reliable source, who witnessed the clash told Blueprint that while Atiku’s vehicle was parked at the VIP wing waiting to pick him, the Minister arrived and asked Atiku’s driver to move away from where the vehicle was parked, this the source said led to both parties exchanging unpleasant words and threatening each others.
According to the source, “The VIP wing was like a commercial motor park this night. I couldn’t believe what I saw. They were shouting on top of their voices, threatening each other.”
