Andy Caroll has agreed personal terms on a return to Newcastle.
The 30-year-old has been without a club since he left West Ham earlier this summer but has penned an initial one-year deal with his boyhood Toon.
Also, Everton have agreed a £25million deal with Man Utd for the permanent signing of Marcos Rojo.
According to talkSPORT, the 29-year-old defender is on his way to the club’s training ground to complete his move.
The Toffees were knocked back in their attempts to resign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma this summer but swooped for Rojo after Harry Maguire’s arrival.
