Breaking: Another Lagos lawmaker, ‘big daddy,’ dies


Honourable Tunde Buraimoh representing Kosofe Constituency II, in the Lagos state House of Assembly has been declared dead.

His colleague, Hon. Sanni Ganeey Okanlawon from Kosofe Constituency 1, broke the news via social media as t late lawmaker is said to have died exactly two weeks after his 60th birthday.

 Late Buraimoh was an active member of the parliament as He had also served in the parliament as the chairman house committee on judiciary, petitions and LASIEC.

Buraimoh was also a former Kosofe local government chairman from 1999 to 2002 and has been a member of the Lagos state House of Assembly since 2015.

 The popular lawmaker is fondly called ‘Big Daddy’ by his supporters and admirers. The cause of his death is still unknown as at the time of this report. 

Buraimoh’s death comes almost a month after his former colleague in the Lagos state House of Assembly, Senator Adebayo Osinowo died at 64. 

Interestingly, both lawmakers are from the same area in Lagos. Like Osinowo, Buraimoh was an active federal lawmaker on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
