Mrs Amaka Ndoma Egba, wife of former Senate leader, Senator Victor Ndoma Egba, has died in a ghastly accident along Benin-Akure road.
Sen Ndoma Egba, in an emotion laden voice, confirmed this to Blueprint in Calabar in a telephone chat, Friday.
Although information on how she died was sketchy as at press time, unconfirmed reports indicated that Mrs Amaka was going for a function in Akure when the incident occurred.
The Senator had passed through series of misfortunes in 2020. He lost three relatives within few months.
Between June and August, he lost his mother in-law, his own mother and media aide, while in late October, hoodlums, who hijacked the EndSARS protest, completely ransacked his house in Calabar and set vehicles packed in his compound ablaze.
