The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reportedly suspended the incumbent governor of Ekiti state Fayemi Kayode .
The suspension was contained in a communique issued by a faction of the party in Ekiti state.
The faction led by Senator Anthony Adeniyi said the suspension of Fayemi was due to what the party described as anti-party activities.
Incumbent governor of Edo state Godwin Obaseki who recently emerged victorious at the just concluded governorship election was not given ticket by APC before he decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party.
