Breaking: APC training operatives to compromise card readers – Atiku

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former vice president Atiku Abubakar, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of training some operatives to compromise the card reader ahead of Saturday, 23 February, 2019 Presidential and National Assembly elections.

Atiku, also known as Waziri Adamawa made this allegation at the ongoing PDP 84th Emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in the party’s headquarters, Waddata Plaza, Abuja.

Reacting to President Muhammadu Buhari’s order on ballot boxes snatchers, Atiku said: “Military commanders are not allowed to carry out order that are not lawful. If you are professional, you are not bond to carry out order that are not lawful.

“We have just discovered that the APC has equipped their operatives, to go overseas and train them on how to compromise the card reader, he said.

“If you are in the South-south, South-east, North-central, you are likely to witness slow reading of the card readers. But if you are in the North west, North East,  and South West, they will make the card reader faster.

“The idea is aimed at ensuring that many APC supporters are captures and vote at areas that are perceived to be the party’s stronghold. And disenfranchise many PDP supporters by slowing down the card reader in PDP areas.
