Reports reaching Blueprint reveals that President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a new acting Inspector General of Police.
He is Usman Alkali Baba, a Deputy Inspector General of Police.
Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, disclosed this on Tuesday in Abuja.
The latest development means IGP Mohammed Adamu will have to proceed on his retirement leave.
