Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of a Federal High Court Abuja, Monday, granted Omoyele Sowore’s application varying bail his bail conditions and that of his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare.
The application as argued bu Sowore’s Counsel, Femi Falana, SAN was meant to review bail order earlier granted the two defendants.
The court had earlier granted a N100 million bail to Sowore with two sureties who must be resident in Abuja and have landed properties within the federal capital territory.
The court went on to vary Sowore’s bail condition thus; reduced the N100 million bail to N50 million and removed 50 million security deposits.
For Bakare, the N50 million bail was reduced to N20 million.
