President Muhammadu Buhari has requested the Senate to confirm appointment of Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
The President in another letter requested the Senate for confirmation of appointments of 19 Resident Electoral Commissioners, five of whom are for re – appointment while the remaining 14 are for fresh appointment.
Confirmation of appointments of four non – executive directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was also sought by the President in a separate letter for that effect.
