There was pandemonium on Monday in Bauchi state as the minister of state for industry, trade and investment, Maryam Yalwaji Katagum, slumped as she delivers speech at an event in the state.
Mrs Katagum was in Bauchi to launch an empowerment program at one of the shopping plazas in the state capital when she collapsed abruptly.
She was was immediately rushed to the emergency centre of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) Bauchi for medical attention.
Blueprint correspondent gathered that the minister came to the state since last Saturday.
The event was attended by the state deputy governor Baba Tela representing governor Bala Mohammed.
