The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has revealed that it will redesign the N200, N500, and N1,000 notes.
CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, who disclosed this during a special press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday said the apex bank will begin circulation of the notes as from December 15, 2022.
The CBN boss said the redesigning project was as a result of a request from the federal government.
