Chelsea have announced the signing of Thiago Silva on a free transfer.
The 35-year-old Brazilian centre-half joins on a one-year deal with the option to extend it by a season.
Silva, who arrives at Stamford Bridge after his PSG contract expired, becomes Frank Lampard’s third signing of this summer’s window.
He said: “I am so happy to be joining Chelsea.
“I am delighted to be a part of Frank Lampard’s exciting squad for next season and I’m here to challenge for honours.
“See you soon Chelsea fans, I look forward to playing at Stamford Bridge very soon.”
Chelsea had already announced the £50million signing of 23-year-old Ben Chilwell from Leicester.
They then followed up by confirming the free transfer of Malang Sarr, 21, who will go straight back out on loan.
Lampard secured deals for Hakm Ziyech, 27, and Timo Werner, 24, before last season had finished.
The attacking pair have already linked up with their new team-mates to prepare for the upcoming campaign.
Chelsea are also closing in on a club record deal to sign 21-year-old Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.
Personal terms have already been agreed with the playmaker ahead of a deal totalling £90million.
