An athlete Chioma Onyekwere has shot #TeamNigeriaCWG2022 up the medal table, after winning Gold in women’s Discus at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in #Birmingham2022 .
Onyekwere threw an SB of 61.70 in the event.
In the event, Nigeria won two medals, with Obiageri Amaechi clinching Bronze, after throwing 56.99m.
With the latest performance, Nigeria now has seven medals comprising three gold, one silver and three bronze.
