The Nigeria’s women 4x100m team a while ago on Sunday beat the odds to win gold at the just concluded athletics event of the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The towering squad beat the likes of Jamaica, England and other countries in the final.
The situation wasn’t the same for the men team who settled for bronze in the same event category.
They left gold and silver places for England and Trinidad & Tobago.
