Less than a month after gunmen attack, the spokesperson for the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Ikenga Ugochinyere, was attacked on Tuesday in his residence, in Akokwa, Imo State.
Ugochinyere had according to reports raised alarm of attack by armed men in an “SOS” message he sent to journalists on WhatsApp.
According to him, “SOS, We are under attack again. My house is under attack again by armed men with explosives and heavy gunfire.”
As at the time of filing this report, the level of the attack is yet to be ascertained.
