Weeks after the newly formed Southeast security outfit popularly known as Ebubeagu was rolled out, its chairman, Major General Obi Abel Umahi (rtd), has tendered resignation.
Umahi tendered his resignation in a letter dated June 4, 2021, entitled: “Resignation as Chairman South east Security Committee – Ebubeagu” and addressed to chairman of the South East Governor’s Forum, Governor Dave Umahi.
He also copied his resignation letter to the president general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ambassador George Obiozor.
