Residents of Akure, Ondo state capital are currently living in perpetual fear following gunshots which erupted Sunday morning, days ahead of governorship election.
Reports say several persons were said to have been injured while many vehicles were vandalised in the clash.
Eyewitness account alleged that the clash was between supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
