Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, on Sunday night announced that the state has recorded the first case of COVID-19.
He said the index case was a 40-year old man, with travel history to Lagos
Speaking in Birnin Kebbi, the governor said the index case has been taken to the Isolation centre .
The governor said, “Regrettably, however, Kebbi state has taken 13 samples to the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control ( NCDC).
“Today, one of the samples returned positive. He has been taken to the Isolation centre and contacts tracing is taking place.”
