Breaking – Guber election: INEC reveals what ‘ll happen after fire engulfed office in Ondo

Despite fire incident that engulfed the headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ondo state, gubernatorial election will go on as scheduled.

INEC National Commissioner in charge of Information and Voter Education Festus Okoye who gave the assurance a while ago in Abuja said new set of card readers would be mopped up from other states ahead of October 10 governorship election.

The state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Ambassador Rufus Akeju, described the fire incident as shocking and set-back, but affirmed that election will go on.

Thousands of card readers were said to have been burnt while the raging fire lasted at INEC office in Akure, Ondo state capital.
