The Chairman, Iganna Local Community Development Area (LCDA) Hon. Jacob Olayiwola has been reportedly kidnapped on Sunday night by suspected gunmen.
It was learnt that the Chairman was abducted together with his driver along the Okeho-Ado Awaye road, leading to Abeokuta.
The Chairman was said to be heading for Ibadan ahead of a meeting scheduled for Monday morning.
As at the time of filling this report, the kidnappers were said to have contacted the family of the Chairman, and demanding N200million ransom
Oyo state Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), SP Gbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the development.
He said men of the command are already trailing the suspected kidnappers.
