Unknwon gunmen pn Saturday attacked Odoro Ikpe Police Station, in Ini Local Government Area (LGA) of Akwa Ibom state, and killed six officers on duty.
The attack Blueprint gathered occurred in the early hours of Saturday when people were still sleeping.
Before then, gunmen killed two police officers in two night attacks on police facilities in Emohua LGA of Rivers state.
The gunmen also reportedly burnt two patrol vehicles and destroyed security checkpoints along East West road.
On Friday, a protest group known as Shiites killed a policeman in Abuja.
The policeman identified as Adama Ezekiel, an Assistant Superintendent of Police died after one of the protesters stabbed him.
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police has already issued a release, and assured that calm has been restored within the nation’s capital.
