An Abuja Federal High Court has ruled out a suit by the Federal Government to extradite the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, to the United States of America.
In his ruling on Monday, Justice Inyang Ekwo struck out the suit filed by Abubakar Malami, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, on the ground that the application is incompetent.
The judge said: “The AGF could not say that he was not aware of the pending proceeding against the defendant which was entered against him by the NDLEA.”
Kyari had been fingered by a Nigerian Hushpuppi in his fraud case at US.
