Breaking: Jonathan’s COAS teams up with APC

A former Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Azubuike Ihejirika (rtd), has joined the All Progressives Congress

Lt. Gen. Ihejirika who served under former President Goodluck Jonathan teamed up with the party after registering as member in the ongoing nationwide registration and revalidation exercise at Ezere Ward 2 in Isuikwuato country home in Abia North Senatorial District.

He officially decamped in the presence of former Abia state governor Orji Uzor Kalu on Tuesday.

On why he join the party, General Ihejirika said his coming into politics by joining the APC was to contribute to the progress of the party in the state and at the national level.

The former COAS said having served in the Army for almost 38 years, he has gathered sufficient experience to contribute to the democracy of the nation and the fortunes of the party.
