Breaking: Lagos, Kano retain wide Covid-19 lead, Rivers pull highest daily tally as Nigeria closes up on 6000 cases, 182 dead

Few hours to another presidential address on novel Covid-19 pandemic, Nigeria has recorded a massive 338 new cases.

Out of the number, Lagos recorded 177, while Kano had 64 new patients with the virus in a statistics revealed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday.

The state by state breakdown shows thus;

Total cases in Nigeria are now 5959, out of which 1594 have been discharged.

Then 182 people have died.
