Incumbent Governor Plateau State Simon Bako Lalong of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared reelected for another four years after Saturday’s supplementary election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) retuning officer Professor Richard Anande of the University of Agriculture Makurdi said Lalong scored595, 582 votes while his closest rival Senator Jeremiah Useni of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 546,813 votes.
