Breaking: Less than 24 hours order, Army arrests Bobrisky in Rivers

With less than 24 hours after Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike gave marching order and promised N30 million bounty, notorious kidnapper Bobrisky has been captured.

Governor Wike disclosed this while speaking during a security meeting with leaders of Rumuolumeni community in Government House in Port Harcourt on Friday.

The governor, who said Bobrisky was captured by soldiers, however, did not give details of where and how he was arrested.

He expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Army for their support in capturing the suspected cultist, said.

On the payment of N30 bounty on the arrest of Bobrisky, Governor Wike said he would pay the soldiers who had helped in arresting the fugitive criminal.

“The Army has captured Bobrisky of Gokana. I will pay the bounty that I promised to the Nigerian Army.

“Anyone who generates insecurity in Rivers State, I am ready to pay any amount to ensure the arrest of that person,” Governor Wike said.

He, however, called on community leaders to supply information to the State Security Council on criminals in their communities for the security agencies to act frontally to reduce crime.
