Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state and popular comedian Debo Adebayo, also known as Mr Macaroni, have joined protests in Ibadan, and at Gani Fawehinmi Park in the Ojota area, Lagos state respectively.
In Lagos, Police dispersed protesters with teargas canisters while some were arrested.
Yet the protesters who are demanding the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari “for failing to address myriads of Nigeria’s problems are not deterred as they returned to protest venue in Lagos.
Mr Macaroni had been arrested in Lagos by Police operatives earlier in 2021 when he joined #EndSARS protest.
Meanwhile, similar protest is heating up in Port-Harcourt on Saturday.
