Breaking: Nasarawa gov’s father rushed to isolation centre over suspected Covid-19 case

Malam Sule Bawa, the father of of the Nasarawa state governor Abdullahi Sule, and the emir of Gudi has been taken to anisolation centre after he was suspected to be infected with COVID-19.

Source revealed that the Father of the Nasarawa state governor Abdullahi Sule was brought to Dalhatu Araf specialist hospital isolation centre in Lafia on Wednesday.

He said Malam Bawa has been consistently coughing and sneezing which they could not understand, and they had to call the response team.

It is not clear whether Malam Bawa Sule is tested positive or not.

When contacted, the Chief Medical Director of the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital Doctor Ikramat Hassaan said, ” Mohammed ethically I am not allowed to disclose the identity of our patients,” the CMD said.

However, the Nasarawa state government said it has recorded an additional three deaths, 90 confirmed cases in the state.

According to the governor, “The state unfortunately recorded four dead including the member of the state Assembly representing Nasarawa-West who had died earlier of the disease.

He also said 705 sample were also taken from the state to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) for testing in Hospital, since the outbreak of the pandemic in the state.
