Breaking: New Ministers emerge August 21

President Muhammadu Buhari would on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 administer oaths of office and allegiance on the 43 ministerial nominees cleared by the Senate.

The event would take place at the Federal Executive Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary (Cabinet Affairs Office) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Babatunde lawal, said the ministers designate would also undergo an induction training in Abuja from Monday, August 19 to Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

He said the objectives of the retreat is to build a strong platform for synergy and teamwork and sensitize appointees on the status of the implementation of policies, programmes and projects of government from 2015 to date.

He said the retreat is also intended to acquaint the appiontees with the roadmap for delivery of government’s priorities and next level agenda from 2019 to 2023.

He said the retreat is aimed at deepening the understanding of participants on best practices in conducting government business.
