Nigeria’s Flamingos to the final of the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup after losing 6-5 on penalties to Colombia in the semi-final clash on Wednesday afternoon.
Following a goalless scores after the regulation time, the Flamingos missed the opputrtunity to reach the final despite having a penalty advantage over their Colombia counterpart who lost their 3rd kick, eventually losing to them 6-5 on penalties.
The Nigerian girls will now play the loser of the second semi-final between Spain and Germany in the 3rd placed match.
They beat USA via penalties to secure a last four place.
