A chieftain of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Chidi Offor Okenwa has passed.
Okenwa who is the chairman of Enugu Football Association died Tuesday morning after batting an undisclosed sickness.
Team Manager of Enugu Rangers international Amobi Ezeaku who confirmed this latest development said Okenwa has been battling with an ailment for a while before he gave up.
There have record of deaths within the the Nigeria football fraternity in recent times.
Former Enugu Rangers, Nasarawa United, Remo Stars players had thrown many into mourning.
