Manchester City were left rocked and shocked after the champions were blitzed by promoted Norwich City.
Not many fancied the Canaries to spring a surprise at Carrow Road, but the yellow and greens were flying high come full-time after a memorable 3-1 victory.

And it did not take long for the place to erupt into a chorus of cheers as last season’s Championship title winners took an early lead.
Just 18 minutes were only the clock when the opener arrived.
A Norwich corner was swung into the box, and despite City having everyone back to defend it, Kenny McClean was able to rise through the bodies to head home.
The home faithful were in dreamland – but it got even better before the half hour mark.
The Canaries surged forward on to the counter-attack as Teemu Pukki beat the offside trap and charged towards goal.
Spotting team-mate Todd Cantwell alongside him in a two-on-one situation, August’s Premier League player of the month squared the ball for the youngster to sidefoot into an empty net.
Within seconds Raheem Sterling nearly got Pep Guardiola’s men back into it only to be denied by the woodwork.
But then Norwich felt they should have been awarded a penalty after John Stones appeared to handle the ball, only for VAR to rule it as accidental.
City looked shell-shocked, but they managed to pull a goal back in the dying seconds of the opening period.
Bernardo Silva whipped the ball into the box and Sergio Aguero jumped between two defenders to flick it into the bottom corner.
Carrow Road was braced for a second half onslaught.
But they were back in dreamland just minutes after the restart.
After squandering an earlier opportunity when played through, Pukki made no mistake when given a second bite of the cherry following a dreadful error in the City defence.
Nicolas Otamendi was caught dithering in possession on the edge of his area, allowing Emiliano Buendia to pinch the ball and square for Pukki to stab home.
Guardiola called for reinforcements from the bench as Kevin de Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus and Riyad Mahrez all entered the fray.
But it was Rodrigo, a summer signing from Atletico Madrid, who would once again give them hope.
The Spaniard pulled the trigger from 20 yards and the outstretched Tim Krul was unable to keep it out.
City continued to press for an equaliser as fears mounted in East Anglia with Krul called into action in injury time.
But despite plenty of huffing and puffing, Norwich held firm to seal a famous victory.
Guardiola’s side are now five points behind leaders Liverpool after just five games of the campaign.
