Breaking- NPFL: Niger govt picks Dada as Tornadoes sole administrator, barely 24 hours after ousting board

Niger State government has appointed Engineer Ibrahim Dada as the new sole administrator of Niger Tornadoes Football Club of Minna.

On Tuesday, the state government ordered the sacking of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit management after poor managerial and organizations lapses which caused the club to find itself in the current situation.

Addressing players and members of the state ministry of Sports, Commissioner Hon. Emmanuel Duza sought for the players, coaches, and staff of the maximum cooperation for the club to end the season well.

“State government is concern about the current situation the club finds itself”

“At this moment, we must join hands together to work for the club, which is what we need now”.

“A lot of changes have taken place within few days, we have searched and interviewed some few candidates that fit the position”

“I’m glad and honor to announce and introduce Engineer Ibrahim Dada as the new sole administrator of our darling club Niger Tornadoes Football Club, Minna,” he said.

Responding, the new sole administrator said: “all hands must be on desk to move the club forward in the area of administration and club management”

“We have already found ourselves in this position, what we need to do avoid any other fault”, he concluded.

Niger Tornadoes will travel this Friday to Port Harcourt to engage Rivers United for their Nigeria professional football league matchday 13 on Sunday.
