Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state a while ago paid thank you visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, days after he secured his second victory.
Obaseki who was in company of his deputy Philip Shuaibu told state house correspondents that he will remain with the Peoples Democratic Party.
Obaseki beat Osagie Ize-Iyamu of Buhari’s All Progressives Congress and others to win the last Saturday’s governorship election in his state.
He had dumped the APC for the PDP when the ruling party disqualified him from participating in its primary election.
