Breaking – Ondo guber: Akeredolu, Jegede, Ajayi win polling units as results trickle in

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Saturday won his polling unit in Owo at the Ondo state governorship election.

Akeredolu who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his unit 6 Ward 5, Isokun, Ijebu Owo, scored 413 votes.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Eyitayo Jegede, polled 12 votes while the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, Agboola Ajayi, who is the deputy governor scored zero.

Also, deputy hovernor Ajayi swept the polls at his unit located at Idumado Quarters, Kiribo, Ese-Odo local government area.

The governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) scored 395 votes while the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Akeredolu got 13.

PDP counterpart, Jegede garnered five while the candidates of the LP and the AAC got one vote each six votes were voided.

At polling unit 9, ward 2 where Jegede voted, he polled 220 votes while APC’s Akeredolu and Ajayi of ZLP got 60 and seven votes respectively.
