Breaking: Onnoghen docked, pleads ‘I’m not guilty’

Minutes after suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen was compulsorily meant to enter dock, he has pleaded not guilty to charges preferred against him at the Code of Conduct (CCT).

Proceedings eventually kicked off by 10.25am, barely one hour after Onnoghen arrived the CCT arena.

While the hearing was on, Tribunal Chairman, Danladi Umar insisted that Onnghen, who had sat on the front seat must enter the dock, a directive the embattled CJN obeyed and went straight into the dock.
