The Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has directed the termination of the appointment of the Director General, State Security Service, Lawal Musa Daura, with immediate effect.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity in the Office of the Acting President, Mr. Laolu Akande, said in a statement in Abuja.
Mr. Daura has been directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice.
Blueprint learnt that the sudden sack of the SSS boss mighty not be unconnected with the siege laid on National Assembly by operatives of the State Security Service.
