Soldiers manning Lekki toll gate area in Lagos state reportedly fired heavy gunshots at #EndSARS protesters Monday evening.
The troops who were part of those deployed for Operation Crocodile Smile allegedly shot several times at the protesters who sat down peacefully.
An eyewitness who spoke to Blueprint said one person was seen lying dead on the floor while many others sustained severe injury after the curfew imposed by Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had started.
As at the time of filling this report, no official statement has been issued by the Nigerian Army authorities.
