Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been removed from the list of those cleared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for November 6 governorship election in Anambra state.
Also, a candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and former governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Charles Soludo is also missing.
Incidentally, the Commission cleared the candidate of other APGA faction Chukwuma Micheal Umeoji for the poll.
This was disclosed in a statement on Friday by INEC National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye.
The INEC Commissioner cited Court Order as the reason for the exclusion.
There have been contentious issues by various factions of PDP in Anambra state before and after their governorship primary.
