Breaking: Protest rocks Ogun over naira, fuel scarcity, expressway blocked [VIDEO]

Massive protest has erupted at GTBank situated at Asero area of Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital over naira scarcity disrupting human and vehicular activities.

Already, the protesters blocked the inward and outward road access as well as the expressway.

The protesters who had placards bearing different inscriptions have vowed to continue their agitation indefinitely.

Also, the First Bank building situated at Sapon area, Abeokuta has been vandalised by irate boys, just as burn fire were seen at the main road leading to the palace of the Paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Aremu Gbadebo, preventing free vehicular activities.

Meanwhile, security presence from men of the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), have been deployed to forestall any form of breakdown of law and order.

Tear gas has been shot into a school, Noble Scholar at Obantoko area sequel to the ongoing protest.
