Breaking: Quit Military before elections, Buratai warns ‘disloyal’ Soldiers

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai has ordered any officer who can’t be 100 percent loyal to constituted authorities to resign from the service before presidential and National Assembly February 23, 2019.

The Army chief gave the order Wednesday during a meeting with Principal Staff Officers, General Officers Commanding (GOCs) and Brigade Commanders.

Lt. Gen. Buratai also warned commanders to stay clear of former military officers, especially those with political interest.
