The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has finally suspended its eight month old strike after a meeting held by the National Executive Council (NEC) of the union in Abuja Thursday night.
ASUU is yet to make an official announcement
Blueprint gathered from a reliable source within the NEC that, “Yes, it has been called off. The president will release an official circular in the morning”.
