Breaking: Reps endorse N30, 000 as National Minimum Wage




After not-too-longdeliberations, the House of Representatives has just passed the National Minimum Wage Bill.

Against N27, 000 submission by President Muhammadu Buhari, the Lawmakers at the Green chamber pegged the minimum wage at N30,000 for workers in the country at Tuesday’s plenary presided over by the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara.

They approved the figure after the bill was read and passed for the third time on the floor of the lower chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja.
