Legislators elected under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) currently in the House of Representatives on Friday staged a walk out during consideration of the Electoral Act amendment bill.
After the consideration, Minority Leader Ndidi Elumelu said the House cannot be asked to rescind decision on a section since it was not ruled upon.
He led PDP members out of the floor of the House in protest.
Speaker Femi Gbajabiamiala had appealed to members to allow consideration of other sections of the bill while leaving out the contentious section 5.
