Breaking: Shi’ite members ‘take over’ NASS, attack Policemen, others as protest turns bloody

The National Assembly is currently under siege by members of the Shi’ite Islamic sect.

Blueprint correspondent reports that they have attacked and smashed wind shields of police vehicles.

Eyewitness said some of the Police who were wounded in the attack with blood gushing out and are currently being rushed to the National Assembly clinic.

Some ofnthe Shi’ite members who were reportedly armed shot sporadically.

The sect members scaled the first (MOPOL) gate leading into the complex, and were engaged by anti riot policemen, initially.

The Shi’ite group has been protesting the detention of their leader, El Zaky Zaky over the years.
