Several shops in Apongbon area of Lagos state have been destroyed as fire gutted the area on Wednesday morning.
It is unclear yet as to what led to the fire but report has it that the fire affected the bridge..
Motorists around the area are advised to take alternative roads.
As at the time of filing this report, fire fighters are already at the scene.
