The supreme court on Wednesday nullified the nomination of Emmanuel Bwacha as the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba state.
Delivering judgment, a five-member panel led by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun affirmed the verdict of the federal high court which held on September 20, 2023, that the APC did not conduct any valid governorship primary in the state.
An aspirant, David Sabo Kente, had filed the suit against Bwacha’s candidature.
